UMBC has a new GAIM lab!

The lab has:

• 10 Windows PCs with
  • XBox development tools (Visual Studio and XNA Game Studio Express)
  • Maya animation and 3D modeling software
  • Emergent Gamebryo commercial game engine
• 12 XBox 360's (Part of a gift from of 20 XBox 360s from Microsoft)
• • With Creators Club to load student-developed XNA games
  • There are additional XBox 360s in graphics and animation labs on campus
• 10 Playstation 3's
  • With Linux programming environments
  • In conjunction with the UMBC Multicore Computational Center

This lab is being used in GAIM classes and by the Game Development Club. If you are a GAIM student who is not currently in a class using the lab, but would like GAIM lab access, contact us by email at gaim at cs.umbc.edu.
