Darwin motion-based game controllerMotus Corporation has developed its Darwin game controller and hopes that it can replicate the popularity of the Nintendo’s Wiimote to other consoles and PCs. Darwin is scheduled for release in Fall 2008, and is said to feel more realistic. Darwin uses a combination of accelerometers and gyroscopes to track its motion. There are a lot of new types of controllers. This one is an interesting device and open source business model.

New controller for PC, XBox, Wii, PS2/3 lets you walk to play your favorite games. Natural walking motion for games and virtual reality. Use it play your favorite games such as first person shooter or adventure games and games like Dance Dance Revolution.

Natural foot tracking to control the game opens up new possibilities. Exergaming or Exertainment could be big. And using video games and virtual worlds to help people in physical therapy is also growing.
